1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using AI CV Maker (the "App"), you explicitly agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of the App immediately.

2. App Features and Services

AI CV Maker provides a comprehensive AI-powered resume and cover letter builder. All users have access to the following core capabilities:

• CV Builder: Create and edit professional CVs with full control over content and layout.
• Design Customization: Adjust fonts, colors, sizes, margins, and page format (A4 or US Letter).
• Profile Photo Support: Add a profile photo in Square, European Passport Size, or Modern portrait format.
• Signature Feature: Upload a signature image or draw your own signature directly within the app.
• PDF Export: Download your CV, or your CV and Cover Letter together, as a high-quality vector PDF.
• Print & Preview: Preview your final document and print it directly from the app.
• Free Templates: A selection of free CV templates is available to all users at no cost.

3. Service Tiers

The App offers two clearly defined tiers of service:

• Free Tier: Access to a small selection of free templates and all core CV editing and export tools. The free tier displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. The AI writing assistant and the full library of premium templates are not available in the free tier.
• Premium Tier (One-Time Purchase): Unlocked permanently via a single one-time payment through Google Play. Premium users receive full access to all premium templates from the 100+ template library (in addition to all free templates), the complete AI writing assistant for all CV sections, and a completely ad-free experience — for life, with no recurring charges.

4. Template Library

The App includes a library of over 100 professionally designed CV templates across modern, classic, creative, and minimalist styles. These templates are divided as follows:

• Free Templates: A small selection of templates is available to all users at no cost. These can be used immediately without any purchase.
• Premium Templates: The majority of templates in the library are designated as Premium. Access to all Premium templates is unlocked permanently with the one-time Premium purchase. Premium templates may not be used, exported, or printed without completing the purchase.

We reserve the right to add new templates to the library at any time. New templates may be designated as free or premium at our discretion. Existing Premium purchasers will have access to newly added Premium templates as part of their original one-time purchase.

5. One-Time Purchase and Billing

Premium access is offered as a one-time purchase — you pay once and unlock all Premium features permanently. There are no subscriptions, no recurring fees, and no automatic renewals.

• All purchases are processed securely via Google Play Billing. We do not handle or store your payment information directly.
• Your Premium status is permanently linked to your Google Play account. If you change devices or reinstall the app, you can restore your purchase at any time at no additional cost using the "Restore Purchase" option within the app.
• All purchases are subject to Google Play's refund policy. Refund requests must be submitted directly through the Google Play Store.
• We reserve the right to update, add, or modify Premium features over time. Your one-time purchase grants access to Premium features as they exist and as they evolve within the app.

6. AI Writing Feature — Premium Exclusive

The AI writing assistant is a Premium-only feature. It is available exclusively to users who have completed the one-time Premium purchase. By using this feature, you agree to the following:

• You will review and take full responsibility for all AI-generated content before including it in your CV. AI suggestions are a starting point and may require editing for accuracy and personal relevance.
• You will not use the AI feature to generate false, misleading, or fraudulent professional information.
• You will not attempt to misuse, abuse, or reverse-engineer the AI writing service.
• AI CV Maker makes no guarantees regarding employment outcomes based on AI-written content. The AI tool is an assistive feature only.

7. Advertisements

The free tier of AI CV Maker is supported by advertisements delivered through Google AdMob. By using the free tier, you agree to the display of ads within the app. AdMob may use anonymized device and usage data to serve personalized ads in accordance with Google's advertising policies.

Premium users are completely ad-free. Upon completing the one-time Premium purchase, all advertisements are permanently removed from your app experience.

8. User-Generated Content and Ownership

You retain full ownership of the CV content, documents, and designs you create using the App. By uploading images — including profile photos and signatures — you represent and warrant that you have the full legal right to use such content. AI CV Maker does not claim any ownership over the documents you produce.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the App to create fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive CV documents.
• Incorporate copyrighted materials, logos, or third-party content into your designs without proper authorization.
• Attempt to decompile, reverse-engineer, or tamper with any part of the App.
• Attempt to bypass, crack, or unlawfully access Premium features — including Premium templates and AI writing — without completing the official one-time purchase.
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.

10. Intellectual Property

All app software, original template designs, UI assets, branding, and proprietary features of AI CV Maker remain the exclusive intellectual property of the App's developers. No part of the App — including any free or Premium template design — may be copied, reproduced, or distributed without explicit written permission.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that AI-generated content will always meet your specific requirements. The AI writing tool is an assistive feature and its output should always be reviewed carefully by the user before use.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AI CV Maker and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. This includes, but is not limited to, any loss of data stored locally on your device, or any employment-related outcomes resulting from the use of AI-generated content in your CV.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
